Luke coaches Warwickshire Hawks National Men’s Basketball team & he is Captain of Redditch Basketball Club.

He also chairs the West Midlands Basketball England Regional group.

Along with his love for basketball, Luke enjoy's football and is an Arsenal season ticket holder.

Luke also has two young girls that he is very proud of.

Background & Experience

I have been working in the sport, community development and charity sectors for nearly ten years and have experienced the power of sport and physical activity to change lives. A personal highlight has been visiting Malawi in East Africa to see how sport and play are being used to make a difference to the lives of people living in challenging circumstances. I am currently working in Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire on a disability sports programme, as well as in South Birmingham as a School Games Organiser.


Matt enjoys running and walking his two dogs - Cooper and Caden.

Along side this he enjoys cooking and playing the guitar.

Liam Sheridan


Background & Experience

I have 12 years basketball coaching at various levels from community to international. In addition to mentoring with the UP Foundation I am the director of West Brom Basketball Club and currently work as a Student Welfare Manager in a Secondary School.


Liam's main hobby is basketball. He has been involved in the sport since his early teens.

To accompany this, he is passionate about using sport as a tool of engagement and inspiration for young people.
